Open or close your shop
Shop status and product publication are separate controls.
Steps
- Open Settings and find Shop status.
- Setup in progress means the storefront address is already public. Select Mark shop open when setup is complete, or close the storefront while preparing.
- For a closed shop, select Open my shop again to reopen it.
- To pause the shop, select Close my shop. Existing orders still need to be fulfilled.
Good to know
A published product and an open shop are different things. Check both when preparing to sell. Setup in progress is not a privacy setting. Product and website drafts stay private until published.
Unpublish individual products to remove them from sale. Closing the shop does not cancel existing orders.
