Move, arrange, and group artwork layers

Layers let you work with each piece of artwork separately.

Steps

Select an object on the canvas or its entry in Layers.
Use layer checkboxes or Shift-click to select several objects. Group them to move and resize them together.
Use Layer order to move artwork in front of or behind other artwork.
Use alignment controls for a selection or the print area. Unlock and show layers before arranging them.

Hiding a layer removes it from the print output. Locking prevents accidental editing. Undo and Redo are available in the editor.
